Nowadays visitors can learn about the late 18th century \u2013 the early 20th century interiors in residency of counts Ti\u0161kevi\u010diai in Palanga by exploring The Great Lobby, The Great Parlour, known as The Red Parlour, The Boudoir of Countess, The Blue Saloon, The Cabinet of Count, The Minor Saloon (reception room of Count). The Great Dining Room was turned into a cosy concert hall.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12628\" style=\"width: 671px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lndm.devmerit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/rumai2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12628\" class=\"size-large wp-image-12628\" src=\"https:\/\/lndm.devmerit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/rumai2.jpg\" alt=\"rumai2\" width=\"661\" height=\"491\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12628\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Great Parlour. Kapo\u010dius photo<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Exhibited values are from The Lithuanian National Museum of Art collections assembled from relics received from residency of counts Ti\u0161kevi\u010diai and the other mansions of nobles. Most of the displayed furniture, carpets, minor plastic arts and paintings were restored and preserved by the specialists of the museum who found these items during the 20th century in the devastated mansions. The other part of the exhibits The Lithuanian National Museum of Art purchased, received as gifts or took over from the other museums. Furniture, which is a bigger part of the exhibition, vary in styles: attributing to Baroque, Louis XV, Neo-Empire style, Chippendale, Classicism, Neo-Renaissance, Neo-Gothic, Neoclassicism, Neo-Rococo, Boulle; mostly made of solid wood, carved, engraved, grinded, encrusted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the 17th \u2013 19th centuries in the mansions of Lithuanian noble various antiquities were accumulated, such as fine and applied art, old weapons, numismatics, archaeological artifacts, exotic articles brought from distant lands.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12629\" style=\"width: 659px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lndm.devmerit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/rumai3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12629\" class=\"size-large wp-image-12629\" src=\"https:\/\/lndm.devmerit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/rumai3.jpg\" alt=\"rumai3\" width=\"649\" height=\"432\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12629\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Red Parlour. Kapo\u010dius photo<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Collection of antique articles was gathered by counts Ti\u0161kevi\u010diai \u2013 one of the wealthiest nobles of the 19th century Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Several representatives of Ti\u0161kevi\u010diai family had antiquities in their collections: brothers archaeologists Konstantinas (1806\u20131868) and Eustachijus (1814\u20131873) Ti\u0161kevi\u010diai, Benediktas Henrikas Ti\u0161kevi\u010dius (1852\u20131935), Mykolas Ti\u0161kevi\u010dius (1828\u20131897). They not only accumulated antiquities, but also researched the monuments of the cultural heritage of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and other European countries.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12630\" style=\"width: 475px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lndm.devmerit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/rumai1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12630\" class=\"size-large wp-image-12630\" src=\"https:\/\/lndm.devmerit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/rumai1.jpg\" alt=\"rumai1\" width=\"465\" height=\"698\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12630\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Boudoir of Countess.
