\"\"<\/a>Painting <\/span>is<\/span> a <\/span>contract<\/span> between<\/span> the <\/span>vision<\/span> of a painting and the <\/span>hand<\/span>. It <\/span>is<\/span> there<\/span> that<\/span> the <\/span>content<\/span>, <\/span>meaning<\/span> and <\/span>beauty<\/span> can<\/span> be <\/span>conjured<\/span> up. But <\/span>when<\/span> the <\/span>hand<\/span> does<\/span> not <\/span>feel<\/span> the idea <\/span>or<\/span> when<\/span> it<\/span> is<\/span> technically<\/span> clumsy<\/span>, the image <\/span>is<\/span> distorted<\/span>. In <\/span>this<\/span> exhibition<\/span> \u2013 <\/span>through<\/span> four<\/span> themes<\/span> \u2013 we show <\/span>paintings<\/span> from the MOCAK Collection <\/span>that<\/span> demonstrate<\/span> a <\/span>successful<\/span> concord<\/span> between<\/span> hand<\/span> and image. <\/span>Some<\/span> of <\/span>these<\/span> works<\/span> emphasise<\/span> the <\/span>subject<\/span> while<\/span> others<\/span> tone<\/span> it<\/span> down. Painting <\/span>is<\/span> a <\/span>versatile<\/span> medium.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
