As the days get cooler, the Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) invites visitors to brighten up the season across its exhibition venues. As fall foliage fades, the LNMA museums and galleries will launch 13 new exhibitions, spanning diverse periods and forms of art. Beyond promising a cozy refuge from capricious autumn showers, the upcoming season promises an inspiring cultural calendar. As the awakening nature treats us to longer daylight hours, the Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) invites to enjoy a new exhibition season. This spring, different subdivisions of the museum across Lithuania open 12 new exhibitions, among them, retrospectives of the iconic Lithuanian artists, projects of contemporary art, and an exhibition presenting the tradition of Ukrainian photography. The spring exhibition spree is not contained by the Lithuanian venues, the LNMA takes the Lithuanian artwork to the international stage. The Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) and the Jonas Karolis Chodkevičius Charity and Support Fund announce a fundraising campaign for the restoration and conservation of the Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko’s artwork.   „The miraculous world of Maria Prymachenko, the legendary cultural heritage of Ukrainian culture, was badly hurt by war. The war-inflicted wounds of these fantastic animals, plants and human characters in her paintings are now treated by the professional specialists’ hands at the Pranas Gudynas Restoration Centre of the LNMA. The Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) launches an intense programme for the summer season and invites its visitors to see new exhibitions.
