‘We are very happy to congratulate and welcome art lovers back into museum spaces – we were all waiting for this moment for four months now! On 16 March, we will be opening five exhibitions in 4 departments of the museum in Vilnius. Before quarantine started, these exhibitions were very popular among visitors, but had to be closed down for obvious reasons. We hope that this time it will not be necessary to close down soon. In order to avoid this, we are taking all the necessary precautions to guarantee a safe environment for our visitors and our employees, providing a unique opportunity to be periodically tested for free. Without any doubt, we will be vigilantly regulating flows of the visitors, continuously disinfecting the spaces and surfaces, reassuring proper mask wearing. We strongly hope that the joy of reuniting with art will not be clouded by any interferences or thoughts of possible risks,’ – shares the Director of the museum Arūnas Gelūnas.
