Virtual Tour of Pranas Domšaitis Gallery

The tour of Pranas Domšaitis Gallery will introduce you to its buildings, exhibition halls, history, and collected items. The 15 exhibition halls are focused on works by Pranas Domšaitis (1880–1965), showing the colorful and exotic world of the prominent painter. The 16th exhibition hall presents works by the fascinating self-taught miniature artist Lida Meškaitytė.

All 25 virtual tours of Lithuanian Museums and the territories of the Vilnius Castle were developed in English and Lithuanian languages as part of the Virtual Museum project focusing on modernisation, new electronic services, and the expansion of the Lithuanian Integral Museum Information System (LIMIS). The project was implemented in 2019–2020 by the Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) and its partners.

Virtual tours were created with the help of these companies: Lantelis, INRE, and Pasaulio Spalvos.

As the days get cooler, the Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) invites visitors to brighten up the season across its exhibition venues. Director General of the LNMA Arūnas Gelūnas receives the Knight’s Cross of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour

On 13th July, Dr Arūnas Gelūnas, Director General of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour. Founded in 1802 by the Emperor Napoleon, it is the highest state decoration of the French Republic.
