The collection of LNMA today received a new addition – a work by Yuri Avvamakov ‘Durackyi Mat’.

The Director of LNMA Arūnas Gelūnas is happy that ‘Vladimir Tarasov’s initiative spread and inspired other artists to share their works and supplement LNMA’s collection.’

Thanks to ambassador to Russia Eitvydas Bajarūnas and the team of Russian embassy helping in these difficult times of restrictions due to COVID to keep strong connections with Russian artists.’

Yuri Avvamukov – a renowned architect, artist, and curator. Born in Tiraspol in 1957. Graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1981. Takes part in art and architectural exhibitions since 1982.  His works ae owned by such internationally renowned museums like MoMA and Pompidou.
