The publication features texts by Arūnas Gelūnas, Estelle Hoy, Išora x Lozuraitytė Studio, Valentinas Klimašauskas, Inga Lāce and João Laia. According to the contributors, this joint appearance of the artwork by Rožanskaitė and Pakui Hardware links the protagonists, environments and the moments of crisis to arrive at a metabolic balance and “to cool down” the highly feverish human and planetary bodies.
“The visionary glance by the world-famous contemporary artist duo Pakui Hardware provocatively pierces the pestering wounds of humanity: our bodies and the body of our planet, agonised by the pandemic, social, economic and military inflammations,” Dr Arūnas Gelūnas, director general of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art and commissioner of the future Lithuanian pavilion at the Venice Biennial says.
